Fabric Rose Headband

Just figured out how to make fabric roses and I'm very excited. Made these fabric roses with silk chiffon scraps. I covered a plastic head band in silk dupioni. Used felt fabric as a foundation for connecting the three roses and hand sewed the piece to the head band. Wore it yesterday and got quite a few complements from the males. Made another one for the etsy shop, check it out

Retro True Love Tattoo Earrings

After a tiresome weekend down South I'm extremely happy to be back home. And in honor of my friends engagement I decided to sew together some earrings with these true love tattoo resin buttons. The front sides are red canvas fabric and the back sides are a dark denim fabric. All edges are frayed but sewn closed. In between the fabric is a heavyweight interfacing. Earrings measure 1.5"x1".
